10 questions that must be answered by every nominee:

1. What inspired you to start blogging?

I thought it might be a good way to learn and push myself beyond my comfort zone…and it did 🙂

2. How did you come up with the name for your blog?

I was talking to some people I’d just met, and somehow mentioned that I was a “tech-tard”. They both said…”Haha, that’s funny. You should start a blog and call it Tech-tard”. So, I did. Initially, I thought I’d write about my adventures in learning the adobe suite as well as my technological ignorance(s). After a while, I found myself wanting to write about other things, so I decided to change the name of it.  In my search for names, I found a blog name generator thing that spewed out a bunch of different word combinations. The combination of “Lucky Wreck” stood out to me because it seemed to describe my life pretty accurately, so I went with it (despite the fact that it came from the blog name generator thingy :P)

3. What is your favorite blog that you like to read?

There are so many different ones I like! I have noticed there are different ones I like with different moods. I am continually amazed by how well people can write!

4 Tell about your dream job (maybe you’re doing it now!)?

Hmmm…I can think of a lot of different things that would be involved in my dream job, but mostly, it would just involve sitting around laughing with people 😀

5. Is your glass half full or half empty?

Ummm…its half empty AND half full, but I try to focus on the half full part 😉

6. If you could do anywhere for a week’s vacation, where would you go?

Sweden

7. What food can you absolutely not eat?

Mayonnaise (unfortunately, I think they eat a lot of mayonnaise in Sweden).

8. Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?

Gosh…both! But, I’ve read that dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, so I usually consume massive amounts of dark chocolate and use the “health benefits” as an excuse….to myself…in my head.

9. How much time do you spend blogging-in other words, are you one of those lucky people who can dash off a blog post in no time, or like me and take forever on one post to get it just right?

I spend SO much time on one post and hyper scrutinize it over and over again until its either perfect (which is never), or I have driven myself nuts and just post it to preserve my mental health.

10. Do you watch TV-if so what are some of your favorite shows?

I do watch T.V. 😛 Lately, I’ve been on a kick watching “The Office”.

  11. Oh…my goodness, I’m such a heel. I had no idea this was even here! Thanks so much!! When you said “Congratulations on your Sunshine Award” the other day, I was like, “I’ve got one? Where?” (Doh!) I admit that I don’t as much as I should about awards, but I’m very thankful and honoured. I appreciate that, Lucky. 🙂

    • You are so not a heel! I think I was the heel for not telling you! I was not sure how to handle the blog award thing. In case you didn’t already guess, I thought WAY too much about what to do…in fact, I can tell I’m thinking WAY too much about how to write what I am trying to say in this comment! 😀

      • You know, the fact that you’re JUST NOW commenting on it tells me you’ve been sitting there in your socks (with your cat) typing (backspace-delete- delete), refining- and tightening up your overall presentation. And who can could fault you for that. 😉 You, as you know, are a riot and I reeeeally love a person who can not only laugh with him or herself, but AT him or herself as well. I really wish I had the time to do the whole linking up the awards, etc.! I’m waaaay (hay hay) behind in my schoolwork. I can feel my GPA dying as we speak. But it means a lot to me! It really does. 🙂
